Between 14-16 November 2024, the Aplind team successfully participated at the pressure tests for two industrial hot water boilers, watertube type, each with a capacity of 25 MWt. These boilers were produced by the Selnikel company, from Turkey and are to be used in an important district heating project that will be implemented in Romania in 2025.
The pressure tests, carried out in the Selnikel factory in Ankara, were a complete success. At the event were present representatives of the Aplind team, as well as delegates from the client and the general contractor of the project. The environment of collaboration and professionalism contributed to the optimal development of the technical procedures.
The pressure tests went very well and it confirmed the quality and safety of the boilers produced by Selnikel. Everyone involved was very satisfied with the results, which represents an important step in the development of this ambitious district heating project, scheduled to become operational in 2025.
